Capture Memories with Free Halloween Portraits

Every year you work so hard assembling the perfect costume for your little ones. Makeup, accessories, wigs, hats, masks...it all comes together for one night of fun and mischief making. In the hustle and bustle of the evening, how do you make sure you capture that memory to last for years to come? Portrait Innovations is pleased to offer free portraits to parents with children dressed in costumes during its Halloween event. The event takes place at all Portrait Innovations studios Monday, Oct. 30. Photo opportunities run from 3 to 7 p.m., and parents will receive two free 5x7 portraits and the digital images of each child dressed in costume.

Photo Contest
Following the free event, parents can also submit their children’s portrait as part of a fun Portrait Innovations photo contest. Entrants will have a chance to win one of three $1,000 cash prizes. To enter, participants should submit their Portrait Innovations Halloween portrait, and encourage friends and family to vote for it. Portrait Innovations will judge the top 20 portraits for costume originality. Three families will be named winners. Portrait Innovations specializes in giving customers a customized portrait studio experience. They offer creative options for beautiful, professional portraits and personalized gifts and keepsakes. Photographers at each studio are trained in the newest posing and shooting techniques and work with newborns, children, families, graduates, religious milestones and large groups. During Portrait Innovations free Halloween event, there will not be any sales or traditional studio appointments available. This way, the team can focus on working with children dressed in costumes for Halloween. Employees will also be handing out candy to get everyone in the Halloween spirit.
Our Experience
We have been visiting Portrait Innovations locations since my oldest was just 3 months old. Their employees really know how to set up a shot and get the best photos. They know all of the tricks to get smiles out of even the most shy babies and kids (like my daughter). Have you ever tried to get more than one person to smile and look at the camera at the same time? I can tell you, it is not easy; but you wouldn't know it if you stepped into a Portrait Innovations studio. When I am looking for a good family photo or one of my kids together, they are my go to. This was our first trip for Halloween portraits, and the kids had a blast. They were really able to get into character and have fun with it. I tend to be a perfectionist, and I love to have pictures of everything we do. Halloween night typically starts out with me running around and trying to get the kids to stay still and smile at the camera. I am so happy to have these memories on film without having to stress out before we head out for trick-or-treating!

I used to get photos taken of my boys in their costumes every year when they were little. It is a great way to capture the memories.

It really is, because you know they won’t be able to fit into those costumes again next year!

I miss those years when the boys used to dress up for Halloween! They are 16 & 18 now, and just help out at parties, rather than dress up.

These pictures turned out great!! I love having seasonal photos of the little ones—I make them part of the “holiday decor” and only bring them out at certain times of the year. Always so fun to see them!

I would love to take portraits innovation up on their offer, but I wonder if it would be packed?! We used to take the kids here every year, but we have slacked off in recent years.
My little one is done horrible death trooper from Star Wars. The costume cost me a fortune at party City, but he has worn it nonstop since we got it so that makes it all worth it! My older kids are throwing something together at home 😍😍😍😍
